The Position: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, this position is to coordinate and monitor the progress of APMTAL facility maintenance for optimal quality and effectiveness.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Supervises the maintenance of records and reports on work performed.
• Supervises subordinate personnel including: determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
• Receives and investigates emergency calls regarding facilities management.
• Ensures work is completed with optimal quality and cost considerations, log relevant information in the Work Order and hands over the Work Order to Maintenance Planners for closure when job is completed.
• Develops, evaluates, or reviews plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities; assesses feasibility of proposals and also responsible for maintenance of APMTAL facilities.
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Facility Management and Development position from a recognized organization.
• Must have a degree in Engineering as a field of study.
• Successful candidates will be self-starters, possess strong analytical skills and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Our client, a major oil and gas operator, currently require a Pipeline Engineer to work in Lagos, Nigeria on a 28x28 rotation, 2 day shift, 2 night shift.
Main responsibilties include:

•Contributes efficiently to pipeline engineering and design activities related to oil and gas activities for projects, studies, proposals, estimates and / or work improvement programs.
•Estimates the project cost and prepares project master schedule, selects and determines the applicable engineering/construction standards, and material and equipment specifications
•Prepares pipe and coating material selection recommendations
•Reviews scopes of work, budgets, commitments, schedules and progress. Makes use of progress reporting system. The degree of assistance and supervision depends on scope , phase and progress of project
Prepares and maintains alignment diagrams
•Develops and maintains pipeline network models.
•Prepares basic piping and instrument diagrams
•Prepares hydrostatic test programs
Candidates wishing to apply must have:
•Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
•15 years working experiences in pipeline engineering of which a minimum of 5 years should be working experiences on oil field, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects
•Thorough knowledge of oil field engineering and construction methods including its practice and procedures
•Demonstrated experience in working on engineering teams on at least 3 projects of at least total value US$10MM each
